Leash pulling
A loose leash, anywhere.
Dragging you down the street, zig-zagging, choking on the collar, lunging at every smell. Pulling is the most common reason people stop walking their dog, and one of the fastest things to fix properly.
Sound familiar?
- Walks are a workout for you and a drag for the dog
- Harnesses, head halters and gadgets have not changed anything
- Only walks nicely when nothing interesting is around
- Kids or older family members cannot hold the leash
What’s really going on
Pulling works. The dog pulls, the dog gets to the smell, the tree, the other dog. Every walk teaches it again. A no-pull harness manages the force but does not change what the dog has learned.
Pulling is also a mindset: a dog who leads the walk is making the decisions. Teaching a loose leash and a structured heel changes who is leading, which is why it improves behavior at home too.

How Seth handles it
The approach.
Loose leash walking is in every program, from Silver up. Seth teaches the dog to keep the leash slack, check in with the handler and ignore distractions, first in quiet places and then on real streets.
Gold adds a stronger foundation of obedience. Platinum adds the structured heel, held past dogs, people and distractions on field trips, so the walk is calm in public and not only on your street.
The go-home session is where the walk transfers to you: leash handling, timing, what to do when the dog tests it.

Questions
About leash pulling.
Can pulling be fixed in a week?
The Silver program gives a dog the foundation of a loose leash and door boundaries in one week. For a dog who also pulls toward other dogs and people, Gold or Platinum gives the repetition needed for the result to hold in public.
Will the training work with my equipment?
Seth will recommend the right equipment for your dog and teach you how to use it in the go-home session. The goal is a dog who walks nicely because they understand the job, not because of the gear.
